I remember Charlie's Angels well and always thought of Farrah. It was like to two went together. When many are mourning the death of Micheal Jackson my heart hurts for the loss of Farrah. Don't get me wrong. I recognize and admire the talent of Michael, but envy the courage of Farrah.
Her friends talked about her as a big heart person who truly loved her friends and family. It hurts my heart to think of someone like that having to suffer through cancer.
Her 1976 poster, shown above, is the best-selling pin-up poster of all time, with more than 12 million copies sold.
Former Angel Co-star Kate Jackson said:
“She was a selfless person who loved her family and friends with all her heart, and what a big heart it was. Farrah showed immense courage and grace throughout her illness and was an inspiration to those around her... I will remember her kindness, her cutting dry wit and, of course, her beautiful smile...when you think of Farrah, remember her smiling because that is exactly how she wanted to be remembered: smiling."
I will try to remember her that way and hope everyone else will. Her outer beauty was beyond compare and it seems her inner beauty was too. May she rest in peace.
